23 years ago a number of brave and pioneering officers decided to improve the working environment of Black officers in the Metropolitan Police.
They utilised their position as London’s finest to be the conduit of communication between the Black community and the Police; to encourage and foster good and better relations.
23 years later, we are walking in the footsteps of giants and striving to emulate their selfless efforts whilst serving our wonderful city.
This day is shared with all of our friends, colleagues, supporters and members.
Happy Birthday to us; the Metropolitan Black Police Association!
