Kickoff@3 Football Tournaments

The MetBPA will again be Supporting the Kickoff@3 Football Tournament.  The football tournaments will be held in different locations/dates around London.  They are family orientated and everyone is welcome to attend.  Each of the tournaments welcomes families and friends to participate and to cheer on the footballers in a fun filled and competitive day.

What is KickOff@3?

KickOff@3 is a social initiative which began in April 2017, established by Michael Wallace and Ashley Levien. Michael is a serving Police Officer, who works in Youth Engagement and is also involved in numerous voluntary youth and community initiatives outside of work. Ashley runs his own Social Inclusion projects and Soccer School in Barnet Borough. Ashley also strives to volunteer in the community by mentoring youths and contributing to charity work. Both have combined their collective strengths as the Founders of Kickoff@3.

The main aims of the initiative are:

1) To establish firm, long lasting relationships between young people and local police forces as a youth diversion strategy, as well as a tool for building trust and positive affiliations between these two groups.

2) To engage with young people through the medium of sports and music, whilst building mutual respect, unity, trust and friendships across all communities. This is particularly significant in areas which are culturally diverse.

3) To raise awareness and funds for a range of charities which promote the health and well-being of young people.

We would like to encourage budding footballers between the ages of 15 years  and 17 years to enter the tournament.  It is open to boys and girls teams.  If you would like to participate then please look at the attached flyers which has more details on how to enter.
