Welcome to the New MetBPA Executive

Congratulations to Janet Hills who has been voted in for a second term as the Chair of the Met Black Police Association (MetBPA). The association held its AGM on the 24th October where elections were held and Janet along with nine other members were voted onto the committee.
The new executives will serve until 2016 and will look to enhance the quality of service to our communities as well as improve the working condition for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic staff.
They will meet for the first time on the 14th November to discuss their strategic objectives for the next two years.

Janet Hills stated “I’m so excited about working with the new executive. The new team brings with them all the skills and experience needed to deal with the challenges that we are likely to face in the next couple of years”.

The executive will continue to work with the Commissioner, the Senior Leadership, the Mayors Office of Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as well as our communities to ensure that race equality and justice stay firmly on the agenda.
