Today the MPS says goodbye to one of the female veterans of the MetBPA. After 30yrs of long and distinguished service Detective Constable Yvonne Rhoden MBE retires from the police service.
Yvonne has been an inspiration to so many people and has influenced a generation. Yvonne’s career has spanned a number of departments most memorably her time with the Diversity Unit that brought about transformational change within the Met after the death of Stephen Lawrence.
Yvonne, you will be missed by friends and colleagues as you depart for pastures new and we, at the MetBPA, would like to wish you all the very best with your endeavours.
